Our Association
Sicamous Minor Hockey is a small association with a proven and successful track record. Player development, hockey education, and having fun are the main goals of our association. Our players benefit by receiving loads of ice time at very reasonable costs.

Congratulations to the Sicamous & District Minor Hockey Association on being named OMAHA Association of the Year for 2022/23.
Practices for U11 and U13 will get started on Monday, September 18, 2023.
Practices for U7 and U9 will get started on October 2, 2023.
A minimum payment of $150 for your child's hockey registration MUST be received by SDMHA before your child steps on the ice.
Coaching
Anyone wishing to coach within the organization can apply. Applications and request forms for clearance checks can be obtained from Pascal Albisser. Completed applications can be directly submitted to Pascal or mailed to Box 934, Sicamous, BC V0E 2V0. Coaching certificates, respect in sport and clearance checks are required at the beginning of the season for all on ice coaches.
All Coaching Staff, Managers, Trainers, Team Moms, etc. must have a valid Criminal Record Check in place with Hockey Canada in order to be permitted to participate with a minor hockey team in any way.
You can now get a Criminal Record Check done easily online and free.

The NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT program is designed to ensure a positive experience for new-to-hockey families. We want fmilies to experience the game at its best. We want to help with equipment, help you understand the rules, remove potential safety concerns and most importantly provide an experience that is memorable and fun.
We believe in all hockey has to offer kids, their families and our communities. The NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT was designed to facilitate entry into hockey by offering a program that is ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, SAFE, and most importantly, FUN!
